Figure 2 shows a screenshot of product information posted in a Chinese darknet trading market. Individuals engaged in darknet commerce exhibit distinct behavioral tendencies when posting products and interacting with others. Similarly, our approach analyzes vendors’ posting times, pricing strategies, and transaction frequencies to identify behavioral patterns and infer identities. Containing 20,236 product listings across five key dimensions–product category, price, title, description, and timestamp–it serves as a valuable resource for further research in the domain of Chinese darknet trading. It also demonstrates superior performance compared to large pre-trained models like GPT-4, especially in identifying high-stickiness vendor groups in Darknet markets.
